Avon Centre CC Dear Friends A warm welcome to the Avon Centre web site where I am sure you will find something to interest you. You may be browsing this web site as a visitor to our Centre or as a first rallier and you will be welcomed on any of the rallies that you might wish to book on. If you would like more information about any particular rally please contact Nikki Norley, our Rally Secretary. Easter is fast approaching with Spring following close behind and the rallying season will soon be in full swing. There are various rallies running over the next few months and I am sure many of you will find something to interest you whether you are a family or just the two of you. Some rallies throughout the year are now full – you will see details on the Rally Programme page – with many more filling fast so if you want to go on a particular rally then you need to book as soon as you can. Please take time to look at our Charity page on this site, which I hope you will find interesting and informative. We have already started raising money in 2008 for the Bristol Branch of Parkinson’s Disease. You will see that on the table at flag there is a jar for 5p coins only – individually 5p can buy very little nowadays but collectively over the year the money in the jar will mount up – hopefully we will be able to fill it before the year end. In September I will be doing a sky dive at Cirencester to coincide with our Nominations rally. I have sponsor forms should you wish to sponsor me or a donation during any rally would be very much appreciated – by PDS and myself. I would like to thank you for supporting our Charity for 2008, whether its by way of buying a bonus ball, raffle ticket or a donation. If you have any fundraising ideas please let me know. Jamie and his junior committee are enjoying their meetings and I know they have been discussing some interesting fundraising ideas for their Charity Ankylosing Spondylitis – I’m looking forward to spending time with them this year. Support and encourage our Juniors whenever you can. I am fortunate to have a keen and dedicated Committee. Please feel free to speak with any Committee member if you have any input regarding the Centre.
