Visitors
can enjoy the facilities of the adjacent Country Park which covers some 100

acres
and includes nature trails, woodland walks, picnic areas, a children's play
area and a |

paddling
pool, together with the tranquillity of the six-acre lake with fishing for
carp, pike, |
|||||||||
|
tench, rudd,
roach and perch. Visitors wishing to fish the lake must have a current |
|||||||||
|
National
River Authority Rod Licence. These can be purchased from the tackle shop in |
|||||||||
|
Wokingham.
The local authority who own the lake make a charge
for fishing. |
|||||||||
|
Each
pitch has hardstanding and room for an awning,
together with a water supply and |
|||||||||
|
disposal point. Some of the pitches are on
the lakeside so please indicate if you would |
|||||||||
|
prefer not to be by the lake when booking. |
