Avon Centre Charity Page

     

 

On behalf of the Bristol Branch of the Parkinson's Disease Society I would like to thank the Avon Centre for their hard work and generosity during the year raising funds for the PDS Bristol Branch Research Fund.  Janet Trott presented me with a cheque for £1857.27 which was absolutely amazing and I cannot thank you all enough.  Our thanks also go to Lorraine Wotton for her very brave sponsored tandem sky dive which has raised a further £700.  Thank you to all of you who sponsored her.

The Chief Executive of the Parkinson's Disease Society will be attending our branch meeting in November and we will be able to present him with a cheque for £10,000 for research projects which some day will hopefully lead to a cure for PD or at least a better way of controlling the disease.
